Job Title: Bilingual Human Resources Specialist

The Bilingual Human Resources Specialist is responsible for the administration of group health, dental, vision, and disability benefits, as well as the management of workplace injury claims (WSIB/WCB). Acting as a trusted resource for employees, this role ensures all benefit programs are managed accurately and confidentially.

In this role, you will be responsible for:
Administer group benefits programs, including life, AD&D, health, dental, vision, disability (STD/LTD), and executive medical plans.
Manage all aspects of benefits enrolments, terminations, and employee status changes while maintaining accurate documentation and intranet content.
Coordinate and manage WSIB/WCB claims across multiple provinces, including appeals and GRTW (Gradual Return to Work) programs.
Provide timely and empathetic support to employees regarding complex benefits questions and claim-related inquiries.
Partner with managers to implement and monitor accommodations and return-to-work initiatives.
Contribute to continuous process improvements and recommend creative solutions to enhance program efficiency and employee experience.
Qualifications:
Fluently Bilingual in both French/English, written and verbal.
Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in benefits administration, with a solid understanding of disability case management.
Strong knowledge of WSIB/WCB legislation and processes across multiple provinces, including claims management, appeals, and injury prevention strategies.
Proven experience developing and implementing GRTW or accommodation plans.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS systems
