Overview:





The Human Resources & Recruitment Administrator will support the HR team in delivering efficient and effective recruitment and HR administrative services. The role is pivotal in supporting both recruitment and general HR administration, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and employees alike. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, tech-savvy and passionate about delivering exceptional support across all HR functions.


Location:

The Human Resources & Recruitment Administrator will work out of the office location.


Work Hours:

8:00am - 4:30pm


Salary Range:

$50,000 - $60,000


Bonus:

This position is eligible to receive an incentive award targeted at 5% of the base salary.

Responsibilities:





Recruitment:


Participates in the full recruitment process. Creates job postings, reviews resumes, conducts pre-screening interviews, coordinates interview scheduling with the hiring manager, prepares job offers and conducts reference checks. Collaborates with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and support timely recruitment. Drafts and updates job descriptions with the assistance and input of the hiring managers. Maintains applicant tracking systems and recruitment dashboards. Ensure HR and recruitment practices comply with employment legislation and internal policies. Attend career fairs and partner with schools to create a presence in the community. Utilize the internet and professional networking sites to identify and proactively source candidates. Create & implement interview guides for roles. Design, coordinate and execute onboarding plans with assistance of the hiring managers. Develop 30-, 60-, and 90-day check in process with all new hires. Completes exit interviews with all staff. Provides feedback and recommendations to management team. Create and maintain a talent pool of qualified candidates for future roles.

HR Administration:


Develop, maintain, and update monthly HR newsletters, communication, and digital screens across all office locations with timely and relevant content. Assist in organizing creative monthly engagement initiatives. Support culture & engagement building initiatives and various company-wide internal events. Assist with employee recognition and wellness programs. Prepares monthly reporting and ad hoc reports. Manage office supply inventory and place orders as needed. Assist with updating H&S Training Matrix. Upload documents/files to HRIS system. Assist with basic portal management such as uploading COI's, and WSIB to portals. Participate in other HR related activities as assigned within the team.

Qualifications:




Bachelor's degree or Certification in Human Resources or a related discipline is required. Minimum of 2 years of progressive related experience in Human Resources administration or recruitment. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS/ATS platforms. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Solid understanding of relevant legislation, including the Employment Standards Act, the Human Rights Code, and the Occupational Health & Safety Act is an asset. Business acumen with the ability to work effectively with all levels in the organization. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Must be dependable by being on time, adhering to deadlines and solicits feedback for continual improvement. Experience with UKG is an asset.
