) is seeking a highly skilled Temporary Human Resources Recruiter, to be an integral part of a busy, dynamic, and growing Human Resources Department. We provide a home for people with complex special needs.

The Human Resources Recruiter will be responsible for supporting in the areas of employee relations, full 360 recruitment, onboarding and training, Health and Safety and general Human Resources duties.
Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Participating in the full 360 processes of attraction, recruitment, and hiring.
Building applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites, providing organization information & opportunities.
Updating s as required.
Pre-screening candidates and arranging interviews.
Organizing all annual training for employees as required.
Ensuring all legislated and certification training has been completed and filed in a timely manner.
Tracking all training on the company training matrix in a timely manner.
Participating in the auditing process conducted by external agencies.
Updating job knowledge by reading professional publications and maintaining personal networks.
Filing and general administrative duties.
Responding to general inquiries by employees and Managers.
Track training on our online training platform, TalentLMS, and assign courses to new and current employees.
Participating in HR internal investigations.
Ensuring annual compliance with policy sign-offs and staff appraisals.
Uploading files to employee documents on our HRIS system.
Running orientation on a biweekly basis.
Other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience and Skills
Human Resources Management Diploma/Certificate from an accredited post-secondary institution.
1-4 years of general Human Resources experience, including recruitment.
Knowledge of the Employment Standards Act, Privacy Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and Human Rights
Excellent time management, organizational and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written) including building and maintaining positive relationships with co-workers and external clients at all levels.
Works well independently and as a committed team player.
Attends to details conscientiously and meets deadlines by carefully prioritizing responsibilities and competing priorities.
Other Job Requirements
Must have own reliable transportation; travel will be required to visit locations.
Successful Criminal Record Check (Broad Record Check).
Pass annual physical restraint training.

This position has a base rate of $17.25 per hour, with an additional $3 wage enhancement per hour, paid by the government, as reflected in the wage posted.
