What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Do: In collaboration with the Chief Human Resources Officer, the HR Program Specialist at Provincial Credit Union is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing a variety of human resources programs designed to support and enhance the employee experience, drive organizational effectiveness, and foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
Key Result Areas: Program Development and Implementation:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive HR programs, including but not limited to Total Rewards, Recognition, Employee Engagement, Learning and Development, Career Pathing, and Succession Planning, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI), Change Management, and Employer Branding.
  • Ensure all programs are aligned with the credit union\xe2\x80\x99s strategic objectives and culture.
Collaboration with Leaders:
  • Partner with credit union leaders to understand their needs and challenges, providing expert advice and solutions related to HR programs.
  • Act as a consultant to leaders on HR best practices, program development, and implementation strategies.
Data Analysis and Feedback:
  • Conduct regular reviews and analyses of employee surveys, focus groups, and other feedback mechanisms to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for new programs.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to continuously enhance HR programs and initiatives.
Best Practices and Innovation:
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and legislative changes related to HR programs and initiatives.
  • Introduce innovative and effective practices to enhance the employee experience and organizational performance.
Employee Engagement and Recognition:
  • Develop and manage engagement and recognition programs to foster a positive and motivating work environment.
  • Ensure these programs are effectively communicated and accessible to all employees.
Learning and Development:
  • Design and implement learning and development programs that support employee growth and organizational goals.
  • Identify and address skills gaps through targeted training and development initiatives.
Career Pathing and Succession Planning:
  • Develop and manage career pathing and succession planning programs to ensure a robust talent pipeline.
  • Work with leaders to identify high-potential employees and provide them with development opportunities.

What You Have: Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR program development and management.
Skills and Abilities
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing HR programs across various domains.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decisions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with leaders at all levels.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, trends, and legislative requirements.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and drive innovative solutions.

  • Salary range for this position: $65,047.25 - $76,526.17.
