Prairie Gold Produce is a privately owned Canadian company operated by Blair and Diane Rombough of Taber, Alberta. Prairie Gold operations have been supporting local retailers and food service operators by providing them with only the best Alberta-grown potatoes for forty years. Prairie Gold\xe2\x80\x99s fresh pack facility ensures its customers get the freshest potatoes while keeping their environmental footprint small. Prairie Gold Produce has developed a unique manufacturing process that turns its potatoes into powdered potato for easy shipping. This refined process allows our international customers to experience the amazing flavour of Alberta grown potatoes with minimal environmental impact. Our company is seeking a Human Resources Manager who is comfortable in a fast-paced setting. The ideal candidate will be intimately involved in policy and procedure creation, management of employee benefits and administration of the employee handbook. The Human Resources Manager will also be responsible for management of the company hiring process and company vacation tracking. Responsibilities:

  • Manage employee records and benefits.
  • Handle employee complaints and discipline.
  • Train employees in safety procedures and compliance with government regulations.
  • Employee recruitment and hiring.
  • Ensure effective communication between employees and management.
  • Monitoring and maintaining Insurance-related matters
  • Administering the company\xe2\x80\x99s Benefit Programs
  • Attending to the company\xe2\x80\x99s Health and Safety needs
Qualifications:
  • Experienced in providing Human Resources management services
  • Educated in Human Resources Management or a related field of study
  • Experienced in managing Employee Relations
  • Experienced in delivering Health and Safety support services
  • Experienced in administering Employee Benefit programs
  • Capable of working independently and/or as a team member
