We are looking for an ambitious Human Resources Manager, ideally with HR experience in either management consulting or the professional services industry, who above all wants to do high quality, impactful work they can take pride in.

In this role, you will champion support for colleagues across their entire lifecycle, overseeing the administration of key Human Resources processes and programs.

Our company is on a hybrid model, with the entire team in-office (Yonge/Sheppard) Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and the balance of days at home. Our hybrid model is a reflection of the independence that our team is entrusted with in completing their work.
Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional support to colleagues while ensuring the firm remains compliant with all legal requirements
Support employee engagement initiatives and handle employee queries
Manage employee relations and conduct internal reviews
Provide advice and counsel to firm leadership on a full range of Human Resources issues and policies, as well as performance management
Oversee the implementation of benefits programs, and manage the day-to-day operations of relevant plans and policies to ensure compliance with legislation
Play a key role in risk management by supporting compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, liaising with firm's legal counsel as necessary, and implementing changes
Maintain Human Resources standards, including employee files and HR data management
Maintain and share up-to-date knowledge of relevant policy changes, trends, rules, and regulations
Advise leaders and support colleagues on Human Resources-related subjects,
Hire, train, and develop team members
Build capabilities and design and drive recruitment and onboarding and training strategies that align with best practices & priorities
Uphold standards of strict confidentiality with respect to all matters and documents
Lead Human Resources analyses as necessary, independently drive efforts based on insights, and contribute to or lead other Human Resources projects beyond the scope of your role as needed
Requirements
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources, Management, or Psychology
4+ years of professional human resources experience
2+ years of leadership experience, either leading people and/or multi-disciplinary projects
Demonstrated success at building effective relationships
Ability to lead with a positive attitude and approach challenges head-on
Human resources certification or professional human resources affiliations
Experience using BambooHR, Wagepoint, and Gusto is an asset but not a must
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to use independent judgment to make decisions as well as organize and prioritize work.
Demonstrated maturity and gravitas to professionally handle sensitive people matters - minimizing liability for the Firm and finding amicable solutions
Strong ability to lead change and think strategically
Demonstrated excellence thriving in a fast-paced environment
Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
