Job Description

Working for our London, Ontario office



What you will do: Recruitment and Onboarding + Lead the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and hiring of candidates.
+ Design and implement effective onboarding programs to welcome new employees and ensure a smooth transition into their roles.
+ Collaborate with department heads to forecast hiring needs and develop talent pipelines for critical positions.
Employee Relations and Engagement + Act as the main point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance on HR policies and resolving workplace issues.
+ Develop and execute employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive workplace culture.
+ Mediate and resolve conflicts, ensuring fair and respectful treatment for all employees.
Performance Management + Oversee the performance appraisal process, including goal setting, feedback, and development plans.
+ Provide coaching to managers and employees to improve performance and achieve individual and team goals.
+ Identify and address performance issues promptly and professionally, facilitating disciplinary actions when necessary.
Training and Development + Assess training needs and coordinate programs to support skill development, leadership growth, and compliance.
+ Collaborate with department leaders to create development plans that align with career paths and company goals.
+ Track and evaluate training outcomes to ensure continuous learning and improvement across the organization.
HR Policies and Compliance + Develop, implement, and update HR policies to align with labor laws and company goals.
+ Ensure compliance with all local, provincial, and federal employment regulations, including health and safety standards.
+ Maintain accurate HR records and handle confidential employee information in accordance with privacy regulations.
HR Strategy and Reporting + Develop and execute HR strategies that support organizational objectives, focusing on retention, diversity, and inclusion.
+ Prepare and present reports on HR metrics, including turnover, recruitment, and employee satisfaction.
+ Partner with senior management to align HR programs with business goals and improve overall organizational effectiveness.


What they are looking for:
Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
CHRP/CHRL certification is an asset
15+ years' experience in Human Resources
Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies
Proven background in supporting and growing start?up environments
Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees
Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
Attention to detail and good judgement
