Rebalance Rehab in Chilliwack, BC is seeking an experienced, people-focused
Human Resources Manager
to join our growing healthcare team. This is a part-time (approx. 12 hours/week) position, which can be structured as either an employee or contractor role, depending on the successful candidate's experience and mutual fit.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of staff
Prepare, update, and maintain employment contracts, agreements, and payroll/benefits administration
Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures for compliance, privacy, health, and safety
Support performance reviews, professional development, and support plans
Mediate staff concerns and foster a positive, inclusive, and healthy workplace culture
Advise on employment law, regulatory changes, and HR best practices
Qualifications:
Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred
Minimum 3 years' HR experience, ideally in healthcare, physiotherapy, or community services
Thorough understanding of BC employment law and healthcare regulation
Strong communication, organization, and conflict management skills
Demonstrated experience supporting a small business or clinical environment
Compensation:
Approx. 12 hours/week;
either employee (with pro-rated benefits/stat pay) or contractor model (hourly rate negotiable)
Flexible schedule; on-site and remote work options available
