In this role, you will perform various HR duties, including recruiting, conducting new hire orientation, updating the employee handbook, and managing employee relations.How you will make an impact- Evaluate employee performance, including assisting with annual reviews, appraising pay scales, and coordinating disciplinary action (including terminations if necessary)- Employee relations, involving engaging employees and coordinating sensitive conversations- Maintain physical and digital files for employees and their documents, including benefits, attendance records, and annual reviews- Work with other members of the HR department to manage the hiring and onboarding process for new company employees- Create & /or support a recruitment plan according to operational and business projections- Accountable for completing various tasks and the daily operations of the HR department- Compare federal, state, and local laws to current internal policies and procedures- Create employee engagement plans, including budget approvals and management oversite- Develop templates for HR documents, including the Employee Handbook- Develop onboarding plans and train newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations- Develop official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary adjustments, updates to the employee handbook, leave of absences, and warning/termination letters- Engage with other teams, including with upper management, employees, and third-party vendors
- Willing to work as part of a team or independently and have the drive to take on a variety of tasks and projects- Prior HR experience in a Generalist capacity- This position will be best given to someone who is highly professional; able to use good judgment and maintain a high level of confidentiality and sensitivity- B.A. or B.S. degree preferred, preferably with a Human Resources or Psychology emphasis- Skilled in technology applications and software, as well as social media platforms- Strong knowledge of local, state and federal laws- Full cycle recruiting experience- Prior experience implementing and coordinating Open Enrollment is a plus- Excellent written and verbal business skills- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)If you meet the experience expectations and have immediate availability we want to hear from you!.Robert Half is the world\'s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
