:We are seeking a diligent Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our clients team in Burnaby, British Columbia. In this role, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operations of the HR department by managing a variety of administrative tasks such as scheduling interviews, processing paperwork, and assisting with onboarding processes.Responsibilities:

  • Manage interview scheduling to ensure a streamlined recruitment process
  • Process documentation and paperwork related to HR functions
  • Assist in onboarding new employees to facilitate a smooth transition into the team
  • Maintain accurate records and upload data to the payroll system
  • Handle customer service inquiries and resolve issues promptly
  • Attend to HR-related administrative tasks such as managing benefit functions
  • Ensure all paperwork is in compliance with licensing body and accreditation requirements
  • May be required to perform preliminary screening of potential candidates.
Requirements:
  • Possess a minimum of one year experience in a similar role
  • Proficient in conducting background checks
  • Experience in handling benefit functions
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to schedule interviews effectively
  • Proven experience in managing onboarding processes
