Position Summary:
Reporting to the VP, Human Resources, this position will contribute to the company's yearly goal attainment through recommendations, development, implementation, coordination and administration of policies and programs in the areas of recruitment, benefits, compensation, training, health & safety, employee and labour regulations for both employees and owner operators.
Position Responsibilities:
Develop and implement Human Resource strategy to support business strategy
Develop and maintain HR processes based on best practices, and determine necessary improvements to established processes in order to achieve goals
Communicate HR initiatives and directions to management and employees
Assist Senior Management in the formulation of staffing goals, turnover tracking, etc.
Coordinate closely with payroll and VP, Human Resources on issues relating to risk management as it relates to HR
Define scope of personnel records and maintain those records
Ensure compliance is kept with all governmental bodies
Manage and monitor the company's WSIB accounts
Monitor, report and ensure compliance with the Employment Equity branch of Services Canada
Position Qualifications:
CPHR Designation preferred or working towards
University or College degree in business or a related field a strong asset
Previous experience in Human Resources role a strong asset
Must be bilingual in French and English
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
Ability to lead and provide effective and timely feedback
Ability to work in a high volume environment and meet deadlines
Ability to rapidly learn and perform tasks related to the department or units regulations, policies, rules, functions, procedures or processes
Ability to communicate with others and to assimilate and understand information to make sound decisions in a manner consistent with the essential job functions

Relevant du vice-president, ressources humaines, ce poste contribuera a l'atteinte des objectifs annuels de l'entreprise par le biais de recommandations, d'elaboration, de mise en oeuvre, de coordination et d'administration de politiques et de programmes dans les domaines du recrutement, des avantages sociaux, de la remuneration, de la formation, de la sante et de la securite, des employes et reglementation du travail pour les employes et les proprietaires exploitants.
Responsabilites du poste :
Elaborer et mettre en oeuvre une strategie de ressources humaines pour soutenir la strategie commerciale
Developper et maintenir des processus RH bases sur les meilleures pratiques et determiner les ameliorations necessaires aux processus etablis afin d'atteindre les objectifs.
Communiquer les initiatives et les orientations RH a la direction et aux employes.
Aider la haute direction dans la formulation des objectifs de dotation en personnel, le suivi du roulement de personnel, etc.
Coordonner etroitement avec la paie et le vice-president, ressources humaines sur les questions liees a la gestion des risques en ce qui concerne les RH.
Definir la portee des dossiers du personnel et conserver ces dossiers
Veiller a ce que la conformite soit respectee aupres de tous les organismes gouvernementaux
Gerer et surveiller les comptes de la CSPAAT de l'entreprise.
Surveiller, signaler et assurer la conformite avec la direction generale de l'equite en matiere d'emploi de Services Canada.
Qualifications du poste :
Titre de CRHA prefere ou en voie d'obtention
Diplome universitaire ou collegial en commerce ou dans un domaine connexe, un atout majeur
Experience anterieure dans un role de ressources humaines, un atout majeur
Doit etre bilingue en francais et en anglais
Capacite a travailler de maniere independante ou en equipe
Capacite a diriger et a fournir des commentaires efficaces et opportuns
Capacite a travailler dans un environnement a volume eleve et a respecter les delais
Capacite a apprendre et a effectuer rapidement des taches liees aux reglementations, politiques, regles, fonctions, procedures ou processus du departement ou de l'unite.
Capacite a communiquer avec les autres et a assimiler et comprendre des informations pour prendre des decisions judicieuses d'une maniere coherente avec les fonctions essentielles du poste.
