Human Resources Generalist

: 1 Permanent Full Time Human Resources Generalist (Non-Union) in Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry

Salary

: $ 83,720.00 to $ 94,585.40 annually

Description of Job:

The individual will perform a variety of labour relations, recruitment and onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, health and safety and policy development functions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field. CHRP designation (or in progress) is preferred. Minimum 3-4 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a unionized and/or public sector environment. Demonstrated experience supporting inclusive and equitable HR programs. Strong knowledge of Ontario employment legislation, labour relations, and DEI best practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems and payroll systems. Knowledge of Canadian employment law and regulations. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Good communication skills in English; French language skills considered an asset. Must possess a valid driver's license and the use of an automobile.
