to join the North Medical Spa team on a part-time basis (approx. 5-10 hours per week). This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who thrives in a scaling, people-first company environment and can balance strategy with hands-on support.
You'll play a key role in supporting our growing spa teams by managing recruitment, onboarding, employee support, and policy implementation. This position can be structured as either a part-time employee or contractor role, depending on fit.
Your Role
Talent & Recruitment
Lead recruitment processes by posting roles, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and communicating with hiring managers.
Support onboarding and orientation for new hires, ensuring a seamless experience that reflects our brand values.
Assist in planning training and development opportunities for team members.
Employee Support & HR Operations
Provide guidance to employees on HR-related topics with empathy and professionalism.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential employee records within our HRIS system.
Assist in developing and implementing HR policies that align with company culture and compliance standards.
Act as a trusted resource on employment law, workplace safety, and employee relations.
Culture & Engagement
Support initiatives that enhance employee experience and engagement across locations.
Collaborate with leadership to strengthen company culture as we continue to scale.
Help identify opportunities for process improvement in HR operations.
What You Bring
3+ years of experience in Human Resources (generalist capacity preferred).
Knowledge of Ontario Employment Standards and Occupational Health & Safety Legislation.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to build trust and collaborative relationships across all levels of the organization.
Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive HR matters.
Medical spa or hospitality industry experience is an asset.
