Job Summary


We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in managing HR functions, supporting talent acquisition, and employee relations. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the development of HR strategies, improve processes, and foster a positive workplace environment. The HR Generalist will work closely with leadership to ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies while leveraging various HR tools and software.

Duties



Manage end-to-end talent acquisition processes including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding candidates. Oversee employee relations by addressing concerns, facilitating communication, and promoting a positive work environment. Support change management initiatives by developing training materials and coordinating training sessions on HR policies and procedures. Assist with performance management processes and employee development programs. Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies through regular audits and documentation. Track vacation, leaves, and attendance records Maintain personnel files and HR documentation Support reporting, audits, and HR metrics Tracked required certificates and training for employees Collaborate with management on organizational development projects including succession planning and talent sourcing strategies Prepare reports related to HR metrics, payroll data, and employee engagement for leadership review. Facilitate onboarding activities to ensure new hires are integrated smoothly into the organization

Requirements



1-5 years of HR experience Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management. This position offers an engaging environment where your expertise will directly impact organizational success through effective HR practices and strategic initiatives. Proven experience in human resources management or related administrative roles Strong knowledge of BC Employment Standards, WCB, and HR compliance Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact across all levels of the organization. Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently. Ability to collect and analyze data for reporting purposes using HR analytics tools. Administrative experience including data entry, record keeping, and document management. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage confidential information.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
