Overview


We're looking for a proactive and experienced

Human Resources Generalist

to help shape a safe, inclusive, and growth-oriented workplace. This role plays a key part in driving HR excellence across talent management, employee relations, and workforce development, while also leading health and safety initiatives that protect and empower our team.

As a strategic partner to leadership, you'll apply HR best practices and lead safety initiatives that improve operations and foster a culture of trust, accountability, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities



Coordinate HR activities to support organizational goals and operational needs. Advise managers and employees on HR policies, benefits, and procedures. Develop and implement recruitment strategies and onboarding processes. Lead safety training and accident prevention initiatives, including incident reporting and emergency response. Administer employee consultation and grievance procedures with professionalism and discretion. Oversee workforce development, training, and performance management programs. Ensure compliance with employment laws, health & safety regulations, and internal policies. Maintain accurate job classifications, descriptions, and salary structures Analyze employee data and HR metrics to support decision-making and continuous improvement Support compliance audits and maintain documentation related to safety, performance, and HR programs.

Qualifications



Required:



Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and workplace policy enforcement. Familiarity with health & safety regulations, incident reporting, and risk mitigation strategies. Strong background in conducting orientations, safety training, and employee engagement initiatives. Bachelor's degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field. 2-3 years of experience in human resources or a related discipline CPHR designation, or active pursuit of the designation, will be considered a strong asset. Additional training in risk management, compliance, or safety protocols is an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00-$44.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
