We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Generalist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of human capital management and will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions. This position requires expertise in employment and labor law, talent acquisition, employee relations, and benefits administration. The Human Resources Generalist will contribute to the strategic planning and organizational design of our workforce while fostering a positive work environment ensuring alignment with company goals and legal standards.
Responsibilities
Manage the full cycle of talent acquisition including recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
Preparing and processing payroll, managing employee data, and ensuring compliance with wage and hour laws.
Administer employee orientation programs to ensure smooth integration into the company culture.
Oversee performance management processes, including employee evaluations and feedback mechanisms.
Facilitate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and career growth.
Ensure compliance with FMLA, OSHA, affirmative action planning, and other employment regulations.
Handle employee relations matters by addressing concerns and resolving conflicts effectively.
Maintain HRIS systems (such as Workday, Paychex, or ADP) for accurate data entry and reporting.
Collaborate with management on change management strategies and workforce planning.
Support benefits administration processes including enrollment, inquiries, and claims management.
Conduct data collection for HR metrics to inform strategic decision-making.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field preferred.
Proven experience in human resources roles with knowledge of HR practices including talent management and payroll.
Familiarity with employment & labor law, project management, performance management, and conflict management.
Proficiency in HR software such as Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, Ceridian, or similar systems.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with employees at all levels.
Experience with ATS platforms.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
