Human Resources Generalist

Job Description

We are looking for a Human Resources Generalist to support our team with a wide range of Human Resourc functions. This role will focus on recruitment, employee relations, payroll and benefits support, and ensuring HR policies and processes are applied consistently across the organization.

This is a full-time, permanent position with a total compensation plan including:

Duties and Responsibilities



Support managers and employees with Human Resource-related matters. Post job ads, screen applicants, coordinate interviews, and provide hiring recommendations. Maintain accurate employee records. Assist with payroll and benefits administration; review bi-weekly payroll for accuracy. Administer performance management and incentive programs. Provide guidance on employee relations, disciplinary actions, and terminations. Communicate and implement Human Resource policies and procedures. Monitor medical leaves and disability claims; support return-to-work processes. Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to improve retention. Act as a link between management and employees to resolve workplace concerns. Perform other Human Resource duties as needed.

Job Qualifications



College or university degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field Working knowledge of MS Office, e-mail (Outlook), and internet applications Minimum 3 years of related work experience Knowledge of applicable legislation, including federal and provincial (AB and BC) regulations Knowledge of payroll an asset Working knowledge of dispute resolution processes and working experience Ability to effectively manage time and ability to shift focus as required
