YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:
Reporting to the Human Resources Superintendent, you will be part of the Human Resources Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle's values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
Manage a team of HR professionals to provide transactional and consulting services including employee relations, leave management and performance management
Provide guidance to management on organizational effectiveness and performance
Ensure employment commitments of Impact Benefit Agreements are followed and employment of Aboriginal members is maximized
Ensure the accurate and timely completion of HR reports
Advise management in resolving high level employee relations issues and investigations
Facilitate the design and implementation of HR projects as required
Apply best practices to assist in developing HR policies and procedures and offer interpretation to the workforce as required
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Bachelor's Degree in HR Management, Business Administration or related discipline
Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) or Leader (CHRL) designation preferred
Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior HR role leading a team of HR professionals, preferably in the mining industry
Proficient with Microsoft Office and HRIS software, SAP experience preferred

:
Schedule: 4/3 schedule at our Detour Lake Mine.
Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides transportation to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
