The Whitecap Dakota Nation (WDN) Human Resources Coordinator (HRC) facilitates HR functions such as the recruitment process, employee engagement programs, training and development initiatives, and policy implementation. Duties & Responsibilities
In accordance with the standards of the WDN and reporting to the Human Resources Manger (HRM), the Human Resources Coordinator will:
Recruitment:
Oversee the full cycle recruitment and selection process, including developing job postings, screening applications, scheduling interviews, assist in shortlisting, conduct reference checks, and develop and distribute employment offers and service contracts.
Onboarding Support:
Assist in the onboarding process, ensuring new employees receive comprehensive orientation and integration support.
s Management:
Maintain and update job descriptions, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the organization.
Training Coordination:
Coordinate employee training and development programs, tracking completion and effectiveness.
Policy Implementation:
Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labour laws and organizational standards.
Employee Records Management:
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, both in paper and electronic formats.
OH&S Support:
Work with the WDN OH&S coordinator to maintain and implement the OH&S Safety Matrix and track employee training.
Employee Engagement:
Coordinate employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.
Funding Proposals:
Develop and submit employment funding proposals.
Employee Relations Support:
Provide guidance on HR-related inquiries and issues, supporting supervisors in handling employee matters.
Other Duties:
Perform other duties as assigned by the Human Resources Manager.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
