This role will support employees at our location in Surrey, BC, as well as our offices on Vancouver Island, in Ontario, and future expansion sites.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and people-focused Human Resources Coordinator to support strategic and day-to-day HR operations. This role involves hands-on work across multiple HR functions, including employee relations, recruitment, performance management, compliance, and reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of employment legislation in both British Columbia and Ontario, and a strong commitment to fostering a workplace culture that is engaged, informed and well-supported.
Key Responsibilities

Recruitment and Onboarding:
Manage full-cycle recruitment (job postings, screening, interviews, candidate support)
Oversee new hire documentation and onboarding (orientation, safety, policy reviews)
Training and Development:
Research, recommend, and coordinate internal and external training programs
Maintain related training and Quality System records
Employee Relations and Performance:
Support performance reviews and career development with managers
Act as a liaison between employees and leadership to resolve issues and concerns
Participate in wage reviews and market benchmarking
Plan employee events, celebrations, and recognition programs
Policy and Compliance:
Implement and maintain HR policies and procedures including Employee Handbook
Ensure all HR documentation and agreements are compliant with legislation and in alignment with company culture
Produce HR reports and metrics (turnover, absenteeism, training hours) for internal and external parties
Consult with legal counsel on HR issues to ensure compliance and mitigate risk
Administrative and System Support:
Provide administrative support to senior leadership
Assist with documentation for employee travel, visas, residency or citizenship applications
Administer and update HRIS and ERP HR modules and participate in maintenance of company QMS as it relates to HR
Qualifications
5+ years of progressive experience in an HR role
Post-secondary diploma/degree in Human Resources or related field
Strong MS Office proficiency
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High level of professionalism, diplomacy, and confidentiality
Relationship-oriented, with an approachable manner and the ability to build rapport across all levels.
Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle

Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
