Canada North Environmental Services (CanNorth) is a people-oriented environmental consulting firm that employs biologists, hydrologists, archaeologists, and risk assessment specialists who work across Saskatchewan and outside the province. We are looking for an organized and proactive Human Resources Coordinator to join our team and support day-to-day human resources operations. Responsibilities would include:
Duties
Assist with recruitment activities, including posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and preparing documentation
Support onboarding and offboarding processes
Maintain employee records and personnel files
Coordinate training sessions, orientations, and HR initiatives
Assist with benefits administration and tracking
Prepare letters, reports, and other HR correspondence
Monitor and track key performance indicators
Provide general administrative support to the HR Manager
Provide in-office point of contact for staff
Skills
The ideal candidate will hold a certificate or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or possess equivalent experience. Previous HR or administrative experience is considered an asset. Candidates must demonstrate strong organizational and time-management skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook. The successful applicant will be able to manage confidential information with professionalism, show strong attention to detail, and effectively handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
