Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, people-focused
Human Resources Coordinator
to support and enhance our HR operations. This individual will play a key role in talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, HR administration, scheduling, and payroll. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, reference checks, and offers
Coordinate onboarding and offboarding of employees
Maintain and update employee records and HR databases
Administer scheduling across multiple sites and departments
Process payroll and ensure accuracy of timesheets, hours, and deductions
Handle all vacation and leave requests in accordance with company policies and staffing needs
Assist in the development and enforcement of HR policies and procedures
Provide support with performance management and employee reviews
Respond to employee inquiries and support a positive, inclusive workplace culture
Coordinate training sessions and staff development initiatives
Ensure compliance with Quebec labor laws and internal standards
Collaborate with department heads to anticipate staffing needs
Support benefits administration and employee file audits
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in an HR role (preferably in property management or a service-oriented industry)
Strong knowledge of Quebec labor laws and HR best practices
Experience with payroll systems and staff scheduling
Excellent communication skills in both English and French (spoken and written)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
High level of discretion and professionalism
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
