We are expanding and seeking a driven Business Developer/Account Executive to help grow our client base, manage accounts, and drive new business within the MSP, field technology, Hosted VoIP, Internet, and security sectors.
Job Summary:
The Human Resources Coordinator plays a key support role in the day-to-day operations of the HR function. This position is responsible for coordinating recruitment activities, onboarding and offboarding, employee records, benefits administration support, and compliance with Canadian employment legislation.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling confidential information while supporting employees and management across multiple HR processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding:
o Coordinate job postings across platforms (Indeed, LinkedIn, internal boards)
o Schedule interviews and assist with candidate communications
o Prepare offer letters and employment agreements
o Coordinate new-hire onboarding, orientation, and documentation
o Maintain onboarding checklists and probation tracking
Employee Records & HR Administration:
o Maintain accurate employee files (digital and physical)
o Track employment changes (promotions, terminations, leaves)
o Support offboarding processes and exit documentation
o Assist with HR reporting and audits
o Develop and manage client relationships, from initial contact to signed agreements and ongoing account growth.
o Create proposals, pricing, and presentations tailored to client requirements.
Payroll & Benefits Support:
o Support payroll administration (data entry, changes, verification)
o Assist with benefits enrollment, changes, and employee inquiries
o Liaise with benefits providers and payroll vendors as needed
o Track vacation, sick days, and statutory leaves
Compliance & Policies:
o Ensure compliance with provincial and federal labour laws
o Support updates to HR policies and employee handbooks
o Assist with health & safety documentation and training records
o Maintain confidentiality and data privacy (PIPEDA compliance)
Employee Support:
o Act as a first point of contact for HR-related questions
o Support employee engagement initiatives and internal communications
o Assist HR leadership with projects and initiatives as required
Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
1-3 years of experience in an HR or administrative role (preferred)
Knowledge of Canadian employment standards (ESA, Labour Code)
Strong organizational and time-management skills
High attention to detail and discretion with confidential information
Proficiency with MS Office / Google Workspace; HRIS experience an asset
Strong written and verbal communication skills
CHRP designation (or working toward) is an asset
Compensation:
Base Salary:
$45,000 - $55,000 CAD
