Human Resources Coordinator




Reporting to the Human Resources Lead, this position provides administrative services and support services to the Human Resources Department, in the areas of, orientation, compensation and benefits, report preparation, and attendance management, with focus in Recruitment.

Duties & Responsibilities



Develop job postings and manage postings on recruiting websites Source and screen potential candidates Coordinate full-cycle recruitment activities, including job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication. Coordinate offers Support onboarding activities and maintain accurate employee records. Ensure recruitment practices meet labor laws, collective agreements, and company policies. Track recruitment activities, time-to-fill, and provide regular reports to management. Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR department Prepare new hire packages and documentation Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientation Perform duties such as data entry, electronic filing and assist with other HR projects as they arise Policy development and support Any and all other duties assigned by the Lead or VP of HR.

Qualifications



Diploma or Certificate in Human Resources is required, Business Degree with a concentration in Human Resources is preferred Minimum of 1 year experience working in a similar Human Resources role. Minimum of 1 year recruitment experience is required Registered Professional Recruiter designation would be an asset Exceptional skills with MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Word) Knowledge of Human Resources legislation, procedures, and practices Effective analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Proven communication and collaboration skills Ability to maintain professional demeanor under pressure Adaptability and flexibility Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
