HR Business Partner, Mississauga We Offer \xc2\xb7 100% Employer Paid Medical and Dental Benefits \xc2\xb7 Employer RRSP Matching Program \xc2\xb7 Annual Health/Wellness Spending Accounts \xc2\xb7 Professional Growth & Development What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Do \xe2\x80\x93 The Role (Responsibilities) \xc2\xb7 Formulate partnerships across the organization to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives \xc2\xb7 Conduct and attend meetings with respective client group \xc2\xb7 Provide support to business leaders, managers, and employees across all levels of the organization \xc2\xb7 Act as a resource, advise, and support HR Team members \xc2\xb7 Develop and maintain a \xe2\x80\x9cpulse\xe2\x80\x9d on respective client group \xc2\xb7 Work with HR team to achieve and execute departmental key performance indicators (KPIs), goals and objectives Employee Relations \xc2\xb7 Serve as first point of contact for employees, internal customer service, and management for any employee-related items \xc2\xb7 Conduct and attend meetings with respective client group \xc2\xb7 Lead performance management with the management team by coaching on corrective action, helping prepare warning letters, probationary reviews, terminations, etc. \xc2\xb7 Work with management and senior leadership on increasing employee engagement, building morale, and improve productivity and retention by utilizing HR trends and strategies \xc2\xb7 Facilitate onboarding and offboarding, including collaborating on onboarding plans and training schedules, and conducting and reporting on exit interviews \xc2\xb7 Provide support on merger and acquisition activities \xc2\xb7 Contribute to organizational planning, including restructuring and succession planning, by providing guidance and input \xc2\xb7 Oversee the internal transfer and change process, including collaboration with management on changes and the HR team on the administration \xc2\xb7 Identify and communicate trends and challenges within the assigned client group to the Director, Human Resources and business leaders and suggest action items to assist with mitigation \xc2\xb7 Take appropriate action to mediate interpersonal conflicts and conduct investigations Training & Development \xc2\xb7 Identify training needs, facilitate training sessions, and facilitate developmental conversations on soft skills and legislative requirements \xc2\xb7 Provide counselling and career development support and resources for all levels of staff \xc2\xb7 Work to create and collaborate on maintaining a national database of employee skills \xc2\xb7 Facilitate formal and informal training/coaching sessions on relevant HR topics and skills for designated client group \xc2\xb7 Participate in the evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met. Talent Acquisition \xc2\xb7 Participate in the execution of the company\xe2\x80\x99s recruitment strategy \xc2\xb7 Work with HR Recruiters and managers to meet hiring goals by filling open positions with talented and qualified candidates. \xc2\xb7 Strategize with management on current and future talent needs and provide support on requests \xc2\xb7 Support client group recruitment efforts when backup is needed Health & Wellness \xc2\xb7 Consult and participate in leave of absence, disability, return-to-work plans, acting as a liaison between management, HR, and employees, and collaborating with Health & Safety Team as needed \xc2\xb7 Collaborate on any educational items regarding benefits and wellness programs \xc2\xb7 Develop and promote work-life balance initiatives and understanding General Duties \xc2\xb7 Act as backup and support to the HR team \xc2\xb7 Ensure regulatory compliance and reduce legal risks. Partners on legal claims as needed \xc2\xb7 Records management tasks as applicable \xc2\xb7 Maintain an effective level of business literacy \xc2\xb7 Stay current on emerging developments within the Human Resources field, employment legislation. \xc2\xb7 Projects as assigned \xc2\xb7 Provide employment verifications and references as needed \xc2\xb7 Other tasks and responsibilities as may be required from time to time What You Need (Requirements) \xc2\xb7 Minimum Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or equivalent in Human Resources or related field \xc2\xb7 Minimum five years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Human Resources \xc2\xb7 CHRP designation preferred \xc2\xb7 Bilingual in French and English considered an asset \xc2\xb7 Leadership experience preferred \xc2\xb7 Excellent interpersonal relationship-building and communication skills \xc2\xb7 Ability to conduct meetings and host training sessions \xc2\xb7 Self motivated with strong organizational skills; must be able to work in a fast-paced, high performance and team work environment \xc2\xb7 Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality as well as sensitive and confidential situations \xc2\xb7 Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, MS Projects, HRIS Systems \xc2\xb7 Experience with ADP Workforce Now HRIS system is considered an asset Working Conditions \xc2\xb7 Office environment, hybrid work available \xc2\xb7 In the case of a power outage or declared State of Emergency by any level of Government in Ontario, be available for work \xc2\xb7 Periodic travel as required \xc2\xb7 Ability to attend and conduct presentations \xc2\xb7 Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals \xc2\xb7 Overtime as required \xc2\xb7 Lifting or moving up to 10lbs may be required SOUNDS LIKE YOU??
