Human Resources Assistant
Trenergy is a 100 percent locally owned fabrication plant in St. Catharines, Ontario specializing in the manufacture of boilers, pressure vessels, rail tank cars and more. We are looking for a Human Resources Assistant to assist with high volume recruiting. This is a 6 month contract position.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create and maintain job postings on applicable recruitment boards
Review candidate applications for possible fit
Conduct pre-screen telephone interviews
Maintain recruiting tracking spreadsheets
Conduct face to face interviews
Complete reference checks
Schedule applicable skills evaluations, background checks, etc.
Provides over all administrative support to the Human Resources department as needed
Data entry of employee time, production, and payroll data from time sheets and other records
QUALIFICATIONS:
Post-secondary Human Resources certification or in progress
Ability to work independently
Strong written and oral communication
Ability to multitask with excellent time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft word, excel and PowerPoint
Required experience:
1 to 3 years administrative experience
1 to 3 years recruiting experience
