Summary



We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive

HR Assistant

to provide administrative support in various HR functions. You will assist in Recruitment, Employee Records Management, Benefits processing, Time & Attendance and HR projects. The role is for 6 months (Full-Time) with

possibility of extension.



Responsibilities



Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening candidates and interview scheduling. Support employee onboarding and orientation activities. Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR documentation is up-to-date. Assist in communication between employees and management regarding HR policies. Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration. Coordinate training and development programs for staff. Help manage employee relations issues and provide support as needed. Coordinate employees leave requests and maintain accurate attendance records. Provide general administrative support to the HR department. Participate in all HR projects and process creation and improvements Perform various HR-related duties as assigned, including conducting data entry tasks to support HR functions.

Qualifications



Proficiency in HR technology and systems, including Monday.com, Google Workspace, and HR software. Strong knowledge of employee relations and recruitment processes. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Skilled in data entry and maintaining accurate, organized records. Flexible and adaptable to changing work environments, with the ability to quickly learn and adjust to new processes and tasks. Strong ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information with discretion. Familiarity with HRIS systems is considered an asset. Previous experience as an HR Assistant or in a similar role is an advantage.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
