QUALIFICATIONS
Enrolled in or completed a Post-secondary program, preferably in Human Resources Management
Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a manufacturing/production environment in the Human Resources Department is an asset
Working knowledge of applicable employment legislation: WSIB, OHSA, ESA
Excellent English language communication skills (both verbal & written)
Excellent documentation & organization skills
Strong leadership & problem-solving skills
Computer literate: Microsoft Office
Understanding of IATF & ISO 14001 systems preferred
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Complete administration tasks such as keeping filing system up to date, including the creation of new employee files, terminated employee files, recruitment files and the appropriate discard of outdated/obsolete files.
Responsible for the Employee Suggestion Program; collecting suggestions, inputting information in tracker, and following up
Responsible for preparation of presentations at weekly/Monthly meetings
Responsible for Onboarding process and Orientations
Assist in Month end reports
Ensures that all policies and procedures are adhered to in a fair and consistent manner
Comply with established safe work practices and procedures.
Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of appropriate documentation throughout employment history for all employees
Provide support to shop floor employees
Support the organization to promote overall employee satisfaction and engagement (EOS, Fairness Committee, Safety Committee, etc.).
Prepare, maintain and update employee database
Assist in DCC in HR related programs/procedures (Org Charts, Growth Charts etc.)
Prepare letters, memorandums and other documents as required
Maintain Employee Communication Boards/Computer
Update Human Resource related forms
Schedule Employee, Fairness & JHSC meetings and update Team charts as required.
Provide Training and Attendance reports for all the employees during Performance reviews
Assist with the administration of temporary employees ensuring proper documentation supports request prior to coordinating. Forward hours to temporary agency(s) in timely manner to ensure accurate payroll.
Comply to legislative requirements including but not limited to Section 28 of the Occupational Health & Safety Act
- Use or wear equipment, protective devices or clothing that Pullmatic Mfg. requires to be used or worn
- Report hazards to your supervisor/manager that you are aware of
- Will not operate anything or work in a manner that may cause danger
Ensure IATF & ISO 14001 compliance
Awareness of all relevant Customer Requirements pertaining to your job function
Follow guidelines, systems & rules as set out by your employee handbook & company policies
Any other duties that may be assigned
