Fitset Ninja is a leading ninja obstacle training organization with thriving locations in Edmonton and Calgary, AB, and we're growing fast. This summer, we're launching an exciting pop-up location in Kelowna, BC, marking the first step toward establishing a permanent presence in the Okanagan. Our long-term vision is bold:

We are looking for an HR professional to join our team as a part-time HR Assistant for a contract term from February to September! The HR Assistant will collaborate with our HR Administrator to help execute key HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, and document management.

Roles & Responsibilities



Recruitment Coordination

Manage recruitment communications with candidates and hiring managers. Post job ads and assist with interview logistics and applicant tracking. Schedule first and second interviews and ensure timely coordination. Communicate successful and unsuccessful hiring outcomes professionally and consistently. Track and report seasonal recruitment statistics for operational insights.
Onboarding Support

Assist with onboarding communication to ensure new hires feel supported and informed. Prepare and send employment contracts and onboarding packages. Track completion of onboarding tasks and follow up as needed. Schedule orientation activities and onboarding meetings. Ensure accurate filing and storage of onboarding documentation.
HR Administration

Prepare standard HR documents and correspondence. Maintain personnel files and records, ensuring accuracy, organization, and confidentiality. Respond to employee inquiries and provide timely support and direction. Perform data entry and assist with maintaining clean and updated HRIS data. Support HR communications, scheduling, and meeting coordination. Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and practices.

Prior experience in HR and/or professional administration Able to commit to a consistent weekly schedule Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Enjoys working on a team and independently

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
