About the Opportunity
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator. This role offers the opportunity work under strong HR leadership within a progressive Employee-centric environment. If you are a new HR graduate, looking to gain very valuable experience, this role will advance your career in HR.
Duties include but are not limited to:

Contribute to recruitment efforts by managing job descriptions, postings; screening resumes and sourcing candidates
Participate in orientation and onboarding of all new staff
Maintain corporate Human Resources Policy and Procedure documentation
Act as the first point of contact for inquiries from current employees
Maintain employee records including performance management, professional development and memberships

About You
The successful candidate will have the following:

Post-secondary education in Human Resources
A minimum of one year of relevant experience or equivalent
Strong technical skills with experience using an HRIS would be considered an asset
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to deal effectively with employees
Bilingualism (English/French) would be considered an asset

About the Job
This role is a full time, contract position offering a salary of $23.00 per hour for six months. The client is largely in office and is conveniently located in the downtown core with access to public transit.
