Primary Duties and Responsibilities

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone starting their career in Human Resources who wants hands-on experience and growth. You will support day-to-day HR operations and receive on-the-job training in various HR functions such as recruitment, policy development, career pathing, and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-screen candidates and assess suitability for next hiring stages Schedule interviews and maintain candidate communication Support onboarding by preparing and printing new hire packages Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, record keeping, and document preparation Manage employee milestone and long-term service awards Prepare purchase orders and print invoices as needed Provide scheduling support for HR and management meetings

What We're Looking For

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Good communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Eagerness to learn and grow in the HR field

Preferred but Not Required:

Previous administrative or HR-related experience

Location

Sprung Instant Structures is located in Aldersyde, about 10 km southwest of Okotoks. The successful candidate must have transportation to and from our office. This role is not eligible for sponsorship, candidates must be eligible to work in Canada at the time of application.
