Human Resources Advisor

(Salary Range $104,300 - $119,600 per year)

We are seeking a confident, experienced, highly skilled Human Resources professional to join our dynamic and growing team. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, this role provides strategic and operational support in all facets of Human Resources. You will provide expertise and guidance in the areas of employee and labour relations, recruitment and selection, training and development, job classification and job evaluation, performance management, and policy and program development.



Ideally, you hold bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline along with at least five years of progressive human resources experience in a unionized setting. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.



This is a key position requiring someone who can navigate complex workplace situations with professionalism, integrity and sound judgement, In particular, experience working effectively in a unionized environment is essential. You will be expected to maintain strong, constructive relationships with union representatives while also confidently upholding organizational policies and making principled, evidence-based decisions - even in challenging circumstances.



You have thorough knowledge of applicable legislation affecting the workplace and experience implementing best practices in human resources management. An exceptional communicator and relationship-builder, you have considerable initiative and thrive in a high-performing team environment.
