About the Role
We're seeking a
Human Resources Advisor
who is a trusted partner to managers and employees, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and brings strong HR expertise with a solutions-oriented mindset. You'll support HR operations across multiple provinces, advise on employee relations, and help us build a high-performance culture aligned with Lift's values.
Key Responsibilities
Administer all aspects of HR for a multi-provincial workforce, including employee lifecycle, benefits, payroll coordination, and workers' compensation.
Coach and support Location Managers in day-to-day HR activities and people leadership.
Ensure compliance with provincial employment standards, human rights, occupational health & safety, and privacy legislation.
Partner with Corporate HR and Finance to streamline processes and maintain accurate data.
Provide benefits information, process leaves of absence, disability management, and oversee WCB claims.
HR orientation and training for new managers.
Support performance management, investigations, and employee relations cases.
Generate reports and HR metrics to support strategic decision-making.
Contribute to continuous improvement projects, including HRIS/HCMS implementation and training.
About You
Experience: 3+ years of HR generalist experience, ideally in a multi-site environment.
Education: Diploma or degree in HR or related field; CPHR designation (or in progress) preferred.
Knowledge: Strong grasp of HR processes, employment legislation, and claim management practices.
Technology: Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms.
Skills: Excellent communication, critical thinking, time management and problem-solving abilities.
Attributes: Detail-oriented, adaptable, and client-focused with a positive attitude.
Integrity: Committed to confidentiality and professionalism in all HR matters.
