Roles and Responsibilities:



Act as an advisor to managers to support them in achieving expected results; Manage the staffing process: advise and assist managers in planning, recruitment, selection, hiring, transfers, and probation periods; Assist managers in preparing various selection tools (quality statements, interview grids, pre-selection tests) and participate in recruitment when required; Write and post job advertisements on relevant networks and social media; Ensure a welcoming and effective onboarding process for new employees, based on industry best practices; Advise managers on disciplinary actions, ensuring compliance with internal policies and legal frameworks; Collaborate with managers to analyze training needs for skill maintenance, development, and health and safety training (e.g., WHMIS, MAPAQ, CPO, forklift, etc.); Assist in implementing and coordinating wellness and employee recognition programs; Manage multiple projects simultaneously and lead committees as needed; Collaborate with the corporate team on payroll processing; Advise managers on workplace health and safety regulations and disability management related to workplace injuries or personal conditions; Represent the company at various events and/or job fairs; Participate in employer brand development. Design and deploy HR marketing strategies in collaboration with our Regional Sales and Marketing Manager; Perform administrative tasks in support of HR processes and activities; Support managers during the annual performance review period.

Profile:



University degree in a field related to human resources management, such as business administration or industrial relations; Minimum of 2 years' experience as an HR Generalist; Ability to manage a high volume of tasks and projects under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment; Bilingualism (French and English) is essential; CHRP designation is a significant asset; Excellent proficiency in MS Office Suite; Strong written and verbal communication skills; Demonstrated autonomy, initiative, and attention to detail; Positive and flexible attitude; Strong work ethic, discretion, and professionalism; Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality.

Work Schedule:



Full-time, Monday to Friday, on site. 40 hours per week.

Salary is based on the pay scale and employee benefits in effect at Nordik Spa Village.
