TransX is looking for an enthusiastic, and detail-oriented and customer-focused

HR Administrator

Reporting to the Director, Human Resources & Total Rewards, you'll play an essential role in keeping our HR operations running smoothly, from benefits administration to recruitment support to employee relations. Your work will directly impact the employee experience across the organization.

As the HR Administrator, you'll be the heart of our HR function. You'll support core HR processes, maintain accurate employee date, and ensure timely communication with staff and leaders. You'll also manage a variety of benefits programs - including health, dental, disability, worker's compensation, life insurance, and retirement saving - ensuring employees receive the support they need at every stage of their journey.


This role is perfect for someone who is organized, proactive, and excited about delivering exceptional HR service.

What You'll Do




Recruitment & Hiring

Draft and post job ads across online platforms Screen resumes and conduct phone interviews Coordinate in-person interviews and onboarding logistics Prepare offer letters, contracts, and documentation

HR Administration & Compliance

Maintain employee records and HR databases Prepare HR documentation and process HR invoices Ensure compliance with internal policies and employment legislation

Employee Relations & Communication

Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries Respond to employees' inquiries and provide accurate HR related information. Provide guidance on policies, procedures, and workplace practices.

HR Support Services

Assist with departmental projects and initiatives Provide administrative support to the HR team Coordinate logistics for interviews, meetings, and HR events

Reporting & Data Management

Generate HR reports for internal departments

Skills and Functional Knowledge



Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Working knowledge of

ADP

or other HRIS systems. Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Familiarity with transportation systems (TMW, Synergize, etc.) Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, professional attitude. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem solving skills.

Education and Experience



Recent graduate of, or currently enrolled in, a post-secondary program in Business Administartion or Human Resources. 1-2 years of experience in HR or an office environment is an asset. Experience in transportation industry is considered an asset.
