Summary
We are seeking a Administrator for Human Resources to join our dynamic team at HUMANCONTACT.
This is an HR & Administrative role that combines human resources support with general office administration. As a small but growing business, we're looking for someone who is excited to contribute across multiple areas. The primary role will be managing HR related tasks; from handling onboarding and employee records, to supporting a positive and engaging office culture. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day-to-day work and is passionate about both people operations and creating a well-run, collaborative workplace.
The primary role of the Human Resource Administrator is to oversee the implementation and maintenance of HC policies, practices, across the organization. This role involves collaboration with department leads to address issues surrounding policies, benefits, working arrangements, and processes between the organization, employees, interns, and contractors.
This role is responsible for recruitment initiatives and processes, policy development, benefits administration, employee relations, onboarding/offboarding procedures, and addressing company morale through internal events.
This role is based in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain HR systems and documentation
Support HR operations and administrative tasks
Manage on boarding and off-boarding processes while ensuring compliance with legal requirements and maintaining accurate administrative records
Responsible for various administrative functions, including providing employment verification forms, letters of offer of employment, employee contracts, termination letters, and other organization wide memos as required
Administer employee benefits to reflect additions to the group benefits plan, dismissals, or information changes.
Provide resolutions to employee relations issues, as they arise, in collaboration with the department lead
Oversee orientation and onboarding procedures within the organization, including preparing equipment, buddy programs, and security training.
Advertise job openings within the organization, scan resumes, perform screening calls and book interviews with candidates
Maintain human resource databases, computer software systems, and manual filing systems
Execute company-wide communications, including weekly newsletters and content on internal programs
Maintaining proper file organization for confidential employees' information and organizational contracts
Plan and organize staff events and recreational activities, including Annual HC Day and HC Holiday Party
Plan and organize annual client holiday gifts
Review documentation and templates for Mid Year and Year End reviews
Work with Admin team on overflow Administrative tasks
Other duties as assigned
