Position: Human Resources Administrator
Location: Toronto
Job Type: Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote
Company Overview:Our client, a leading professional services firm in Toronto, is seeking a highly organized and proactive HR Administrator to join their dynamic team. As a key player in their HR department, you will be instrumental in providing exceptional support and contributing to a positive workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment Support: Assist in the recruitment process by posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and coordinating communication with candidates.
- Onboarding & Offboarding: Facilitate onboarding processes for new hires and ensure smooth offboarding procedures for departing employees.
- Employee Records: Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including personal details, contracts, and benefits information.
- HR Policies & Compliance: Ensure adherence to HR policies and employment laws. Assist with compliance documentation and audits.
- Payroll & Benefits: Support payroll administration and benefits enrollment, including addressing employee inquiries and resolving issues.
- HR Systems Management: Utilize and manage HRIS to track employee data, generate reports, and streamline HR operations.
- Training & Development: Coordinate training sessions and professional development opportunities, and track employee progress.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee queries, support conflict resolution, and assist with employee engagement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Language Skills: Must be fluent in both English and French
- Experience: Minimum of 1+ years of experience in an HR administrative role, preferably within a professional services environment.
- Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with employment laws and HR best practices in Canada.
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to handle sensitive information with discretion.
