Human Resources Administrator

to join our team and support a range of HR functions.

Position Overview



Reporting to the Executive Director, the Human Resources Administrator will support the day-to-day Human Resources operations of White Rapids Manor. This position plays a key role in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training coordination, HR data management, and labour relations support.

Key Responsibilities



Human Resources Administration & Support



Respond to HR-related inquiries from employees and supervisors Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and standardized processes Maintain employee records, HR databases, and documentation with accuracy and confidentiality

Recruitment & Onboarding



Coordinate full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, job fairs, interviews, and reference checks Manage the orientation and onboarding process for new employees

Compensation, Benefits & Payroll Support



Oversee employee benefits administration Liaise with payroll and finance to ensure accurate employee compensation Track and maintain employee data including training records, attendance, and leave balances

Employee Relations & Labour Relations



Support conflict resolution and employee relations matters Organize and participate in labour-management meetings Assist in applying collective agreement provisions

Training, Wellness & Staff Engagement



Coordinate staff training, continuing education, and professional development Lead employee wellness initiatives Develop and administer staff recognition programs

Qualifications



Education & Experience



Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field Minimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience, ideally within a unionized environment Equivalent combinations of experience and formal training may be considered HR-specific training or certification is an asset

Skills & Competencies



Strong communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated organizational and time-management abilities Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Basic knowledge of employment and labour legislation Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Strong problem-solving skills and ability to seek support resources effectively

Status:

Part-Time, One-Year Contract

Location:

White Rapids Manor, New Brunswick

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
