We are seeking an experienced HR & Office Administrator to join our team and support the Office Manager in delivering effective HR services across our company.

Position Overview:

The HR Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting the GM Assistant and overseeing HR functions for Aurora Furniture Manufacturing Ltd. and the broader Amax Group. This position is based in Calgary, AB, but will also involve supporting our BC and ON employees. The ideal candidate will possess HR experience and demonstrate strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:



Support GM Assistant:

Assist with various HR initiatives and projects, ensuring alignment with company policies and objectives.

Recruitment and Onboarding:

Facilitate the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding of new employees.

Employee Relations:

Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns. Help manage employee relations issues and foster a supportive work environment.

HR Administration:

Maintain accurate employee records, handle HR documentation, and ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.

Performance Management:

Assist in the performance review process, provide support for performance management activities, and help address performance-related issues.

Training and Development:

Coordinate training sessions and professional development programs. Support the development and tracking of employee training plans.

Compensation and Benefits:

Help administer employee benefits programs, address compensation-related questions, and assist with compensation analysis as needed.

Compliance and Policy Management:

Ensure company practices comply with relevant labor laws and regulations. Support policy updates and communicate changes to employees.

Qualifications:



Experience:

2-3 years of HR experience in an administrator role, ideally within a manufacturing or multi-site organization.

Education:

Higher Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
