HR Generalist

Reporting to: President Full-time, remote$58,000 - $63,000 annuallyHealth and Wellness Coverage

Do you have experience supporting all things HR--from onboarding and compliance to performance management and employee engagement?If so, keep reading--this role might be your next great move.As an HR Generalist at Purple Cow Internet, you'll be a go-to partner for our team across Canada and beyond. You'll support the full employee lifecycle, help maintain compliance in a federally regulated environment, and play a key role in building a people-first, high-performing culture.In this role, you'll own and support key HR functions such as:

Employee Relations & Support

Act as a first point of contact for team members and managers--providing guidance, resolving concerns, and helping maintain a respectful and inclusive workplace.

Onboarding & Offboarding

Deliver onboarding experiences that reflect our values, and ensure smooth, clear offboarding when transitions occur.

Performance Management

Support structured review cycles and feedback processes that help teams grow, stay aligned, and do great work.

Policy Development & Compliance

Maintain and communicate HR policies, ensuring alignment with Canadian and federally regulated employment standards.

Training & Development

Coordinate employee learning opportunities--including compliance training and soft skills development.

Documentation & Records Management

Ensure accurate, secure management of employee files, contracts, and review documentation.

HR Metrics & Reporting

Track engagement, turnover, and training metrics to help us make informed, people-focused decisions.

Payroll & Benefits Support

Liaise with finance and external partners to ensure smooth payroll and benefits processes.We'd love to see the following in your background:3-5 years of progressive HR experience Experience in a remote, fast-paced, or multi-jurisdictional workplace Strong working knowledge of Canadian and federally regulated employment standards Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Proficiency with HRIS platforms, Google Workspace, and Slack Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field (preferred)
