Job Summary The HR Coordinator/ Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing general administrative and human resource support to the Administrator, including keeping personnel records and documentation for all employees and in compliance with provincial/state employment regulations. This position will also provide administrative support including ordering of supplies and equipment for offices.
Responsibilities
Assist in the recruitment process and set up interviews
Assist with Interviews and all subsequent communication and follow up
Arrange for advertising or posting of job vacancies
Provide general administrative support to the management team around office management
Be the first point of contact for all HR-related queries
Process, verify, and maintain personnel-related documentation
Aid in administering employee benefit programs and worker\'s compensation plans
Assist with scheduling and payroll
Explain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to all employees or job applicants
Assist with marketing events
Other administrative duties as required
Qualifications
Post-secondary education in administration and/or HR preferred
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office
Understanding employment legislation and regulations
Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills (written and verbal)
