Position Title: HR Assistant



Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada



Qualifications:



Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field;

Familiarity with Canadian labor laws;

1-2 years of experience in HR or a related administrative role preferred;

Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

Strong ability to build relationships and maintain confidentiality with the managers and the employees;

Exceptional attention to details and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment;

Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities:



Ensure the Canadian offices are compliance with Canadian labor laws and regulations;

Act as the main contact for HR needs and work closely with our US HR team;

Maintain and update employee records, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality;

Assist in processing payroll, verifying timecards, managing deductions, and ensuring compliance with provincial and federal payroll regulations;

Prepare HR documentation such as employment contracts, onboarding materials, and internal communications;

Assist with job postings, resume screening, and scheduling interviews;

Assist with performance review and training;

Other assignments may be directed by the Management.
