We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative & Human Resource Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to our organization. The successful candidate will assist with human resources, office administration, finance administration, and day-to-day operational tasks, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of the MFRC. The successful candidate must be highly motivated and able to perform with minimal supervision.
What You'll Do:
Human Resources & Recruitment Support:
Maintain and update policy manuals and ensure they are accessible to staff.
Organize resumes and job applications for open positions.
Conduct initial applicant screening and prepare screening packages for review.
Collaborate with the relevant Managers to schedule interviews.
Book interview rooms, prepare interview materials, and participate in the interview process.
Coordinate correspondence to applicants regarding competition results.
Conduct reference checks and assist in preparing letters of job offer and contracts for successful applicants.
Prepare new employee files and ensure Criminal Record checks are completed.
Complete the Orientation with new employees.
Track office keys.
Ensure all personnel files are complete, accurate, and up to date.
Office Administration & Support:
Organize office supplies, manage inventory, and assist with procurement.
Perform other administrative tasks as required to support the efficient operation of the MFRC.
Assist in managing database systems within the organization.
Assist staff with office administration inquiries.
Provide front line support and greet clients as required.
Finance Support:
Assist with day-to-day finance tasks as required.
Support data entry.
Complete bank deposits.
Perform basic bookkeeping duties as required.
What We're Looking For:
Post-secondary education in office administration, business, or a related field.
Experience in office administration, and basic finance.
Proficiency with databases and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly, client-focused approach.
Discretion and attention to detail in handling confidential information.
Compensation and Benefits
$27.00 to $31.00 per hour
based on certification and experience
