Join Our Team -- HR Administrator (18-Month Term)
The Department of Family Medicine at the Max Rady College of Medicine, University of Manitoba, is seeking an HR Administrator to help strengthen and streamline our human resources processes across one of the largest and most dynamic departments in the College. With over 800 faculty, staff, and learners distributed across Manitoba, our department is at the heart of family medicine education, research, and clinical training, from urban centres to remote northern communities. In this role, you'll:

Standardize job descriptions and HR documentation Coordinate faculty contract renewals Develop an interactive organizational chart Support onboarding, offboarding, and records management

The qualifications and experience we're looking for:



Completion of a formal training program is required. A University degree in a related field is preferred. EXPERIENCE: -Four (4) years of directly related Human Resources experience required. Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience). Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail. Experience developing and implementing HR processes and systems. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion required. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint required. Advanced writing and presentation skills required. Must have problem solving, conflict resolution skills and apply a solution focused framework is required. Must have excellent time management skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively is required. Ability to meet deadlines and deal positively with changing priorities and stressful situations is required. Must be dependable, self-motivated and possess a strong work ethic, with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines and manage changing priorities is required. A satisfactory work record, including satisfactory attendance and punctuality, is required. Hours of work may vary depending on scheduled events (evenings/weekends). Valid Manitoba Class 5 driver's license and use of a vehicle is required, as travel may be required to events off campus.

Pay: $48,448.40-$66,226.20 per year
