CanGas Propane Inc. is a propane supply, service and equipment company in Western Canada. We are currently seeking an

HSSE Specialist

to join our growing team. Based in the Calgary, this individual will play a vital role in supporting the organization's Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental programs, with a strong emphasis on data collection, integrity, and analysis. Responsibilities and Accountabilities (WHAT)

Participate in inspections, audits, and investigations to ensure high-quality documentation and data capture. Lead the collection of HSSE data from inspections, incident reports, audits, training records, and monitoring systems. Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all HSSE reporting platforms. Maintain HSSE databases, dashboards, and documentation to support internal and external reporting requirements. Implement standardized data-collection processes and verify field adherence to reporting expectations. Analyze HSSE metrics, KPIs, trends, and leading/lagging indicators to identify emerging risks. Prepare performance reports, summaries, and scorecards for leadership and operational teams. Recommend corrective actions and improvement strategies based on data insights. Participate in inspections, audits, and investigations to ensure high-quality documentation and data capture. Support risk assessments, job hazard analyses (JHAs), and safe work procedures with data-driven insights. Coordinate and track HSSE training, certifications, and competency records. Assist in implementing and maintaining HSSE policies, standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

3- 5 years of occupational HSSE work experience. Knowledge of the propane industry is considered an asset.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00-$82,500.00 per year
