Job Summary
The Health, Safety, and Environment Manager oversees the functions and personnel of the department, ensuring compliance with governing legislation and regulations, as well as continuous development, implementation, and coordination of company health, safety, and environmental programs, policies and systems. This position responsible for fostering a positive healthy and safety culture, while directly taking proactive measures to reduce workplace hazards and incidents on a company-wide scale.

Skills

• Occupational Health and Safety Certificate/Post-Secondary Education or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of +5 years of experience in Safety or Quality Management.
• Experience with disability management, accident investigation, workplace inspection, and job hazard analysis preferred.
• Understanding of current legislation, codes of practice, bulletins, and other safe work practice requirements and recommendations, in both aviation and occupational regulations is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Programs, Google, and Adobe applications.
• Valid Canadian Driver's Licence is an asset.
• Legally entitled to work in Canada.
