Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee the company\xe2\x80\x99s Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality Program/s.
• Manage and implement HSEQ Systems to ensure conformity with certification standards and regulatory compliance.
• Provides professional support and advice to Management and Staff on obligations relating to health, safety, environment, and quality activities.
• Supports all Maderra projects in HSEQ policy and guidelines definition and delivery.
• Provides an Assurance and Audit role in the company and on projects.
• Undertakes corrective and preventive measures to ensure an effective working environment for the organization and its stakeholders.
• Leads the company and project teams in risk assessment, incident reporting, and investigation management.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction for compliance to applicable HSE legislation and project specific Health and Safety Plans.
• Ensures that all employees are properly informed about the operating, quality, and safety policies and procedures of the organization.
• Prepares HSEQ performance reports and makes presentations regularly to employees and management.
• Identifies and supports initiatives to continually improve performance.

QUALIFICATIONS

• HSE or related bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or specific industry experience may be acceptable.
• Professional designations recognized by HS&E governing bodies (CRSP).
• Certified Auditor training in ISO 9001 or ISO 14001 or ISO 18001 is desirable.
• Minimum of 7 to 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience developing and implementing Health and Safety programs for significant construction projects.

Job Type: Full-time Salary: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year Benefits:
