Job Summary: We are seeking expressions of interest from a Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) Advisor in our Infrastructure Division. Preference will be given to those with 2+ years experience. Wages are competitive with industry standards complete with a health benefit package, group RRSP contributions and work scheduling to balance quality of life. Successful candidates will be responsible for operating in accordance with quality, safety and efficiency standards. Responsibilities: \xe2\x80\x93 Communicate regularly with supervision and operations staff
\xe2\x80\x93 Oversee and advise on all health and safety aspects for employees and contractors on site
\xe2\x80\x93 Ensure legislative compliance
\xe2\x80\x93 Conduct and monitor all aspects of HSE training
\xe2\x80\x93 Be familiar with all elements of the HSE Program and instruct employees in all associated activities
\xe2\x80\x93 Conduct incident investigations, site and regulatory inspections
\xe2\x80\x93 Maintain a good working relationship with project clients and customers
\xe2\x80\x93 Maintain confidence and ensure confidentiality of information and records
\xe2\x80\x93 Help operations prepare and communicate site specific material for safety meetings Qualifications: \xe2\x80\x93 NCSO designation with associated certificates
\xe2\x80\x93 OHC Level II
\xe2\x80\x93 Traffic Accommodation Supervisor (TAS)
\xe2\x80\x93 Standard First Aid
\xe2\x80\x93 Basic computer literacy (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
\xe2\x80\x93 Strong communication and presentation skills
