WHAT YOU'LL DO
Act as the primary internal safety resource, collaborating with third-party safety consultants, and supervisors.
Maintain and enhance the HSE management program, ensuring compliance with regulations and client requirements.
Lead safety program change initiatives, ensuring processes are being followed by all.
Foster a strong safety culture through communication, training, and engagement initiatives.
Monitor workplace safety practices, conduct inspections, participate in audits, and drive continuous improvement.
Investigate incidents, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Manage digital safety systems to track compliance and safety performance.
Support safety certification processes and ensure regulatory readiness.
Deliver the X-FACTOR experience through excellence, expertise and extraordinary service.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Experience: 3+ years of experience in a safety role, or safety leadership as part of a team, with exposure to both corporate and field environments.
Education: High school diploma or GED; working towards CSRP is considered an asset.
Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management systems.
Certification: NCSO Certification.
Mindset: Strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and alignment with our mission to provide a safe working environment.
PHYSICAL & SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
Safety Compliance: Strict adherence to X-Group safety policies and SOPs.
PPE: Ability to wear required gear (steel-toe boots, safety glasses, hearing protection).
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb stairs/ladders, and navigate an active industrial shop floor.
