We're seeking a motivated individual to join our team in a safety role where you'll play a key part in supporting and maintaining a safe work environment across multiple smaller scale commercial projects.
Responsibilities:
Conduct site safety inspections and hazard assessments
Facilitate safety meetings, orientations, and toolbox talks
Ensure proper documentation and compliance with safety regulations
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant safety legislation and client-specific safety platforms (e.g., ISNetworld, Avetta, ComplyWorks)
Oversee and manage the requirements to maintain the company's COR (Certificate of Recognition) designation
Support the implementation and enforcement of our company safety policies and procedures
Requirements:
Valid NCSO certification (or near completion)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Problem-solving skills with a practical, solutions-focused approach
Ability to work independently in a safety-focused role
Working knowledge of relevant safety platforms and standards
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
